Did you know that Sate Maranggi, traditional food from Purwakarta, was listed in the 30 Indonesian Traditional Culinary Icons by Ministry of Tourism?

At 1945 Restaurant, Chef Hamish Lindsay take this inspiration to create our signature menu, The Maranggi Tomahawk Beef.

The Tomahawk beef is marinated with traditional Maranggi spices, chargrilled over coconut husk charcoal to caramelized the flavours into the meat, then served with vegetables and ketan bakar.
